Streak freezes and rest days
Life gets in the way. Both of these exist so that it does not cost you a month of progress.
Freezes
- Every seven streak days in a row earns one.
- You can hold two — or three if the weekly challenge tops you up.
- A missed day spends one automatically instead of breaking the streak. You do not have to do anything.
Rest days
- These come from the weekly challenge, and you can hold up to three.
- You take one before the day is lost, not after — mark today as a rest day and it neither breaks the streak nor spends a freeze.
- A rest day is quiet: no reminders that day.
Which to use when
Freezes are the accident cover and work by themselves. Rest days are for the gaps you can see coming — a long flight, a hospital day, a wedding. Spend a rest day when you know, and keep the freezes for the days you do not.
Where they are
On Stats, beside the streak. The weekly challenge card on the same screen shows what the next reward will be.
FAQ
- Does a freeze make it a goal day?
- No. It protects the streak only; the day still does not count toward gifts or a new companion.
- Can I save freezes up?
- Up to two, or three with a challenge bonus. Past that they stop accruing until you spend one.
- Can I take a rest day retroactively?
- No — take it on the day itself, before it is counted as missed.
Sippy is a reminder and a record of what you drink, not medical advice. Its suggested goal follows published guidance for healthy adults, and the app is for ages 14 and up. If you have heart, kidney or liver disease, low blood sodium, take diuretics, or have been told to limit fluids, ask your doctor before setting a goal.
Drink water, grow cute cats
Sippy nudges you only when you are behind, logs a glass in one tap from the Lock Screen, and grows a cat farm — or a tiny forest — as the goal days add up. Free, no ads, and nothing leaves your iPhone.
